Manufacturing is at the core of HDS operations and is carried out in a modern boiler works built in the early 80's.

Continuous investment is this facility enables HDS to stay at the forefront of manufacturing technology. Plant and equipment include CNC plate cutting and profiling, orbital and submerging arc welding machines, a membrane wall welding facility for large industrial and utility type water tube boilers.

All manufacturing is carried out in accordance with ISO 9001 using approved quality plans. Welder approvals and welding procedures are updated constantly to comply with international standards and codes of practice.

The facilities are also available on a sub-contract basis to other design companies in the energy field.
